Leeches can be cultivated in natural ponds or laboratories as long as the environmental conditions are met.
It is commonly known that leeches cultivate in warm environments. Each cocoon contains between 10-15 babies. Cocoons must be extracted properly in right time and right conditions.
Raising baby leeches is the most struggling phase. Leeches are fed with frogs and fishes. However they digest in about 6 months at least and feeding must be done regularly as they grow.
Leeches must be kept unfed and sterilized for at least 6-12 months after feeding.
